    Post Can you drive a laptop display with a regular PC?

    A friend gave me an EPS ARa laptop with a dead motherboard the other day. Is there any way to drive the display with a regular PC?

    You can - IF you can find a controller board for the lcd. Can't help you much there, though.

    You need a special card that plugs into a pci or isa slot and controls the lcd like a normal video card would control a monitor.
