Question about audio system for CRV99
Hi, I am a Honda CRV 99 owner...I am not a familiar with Cars...I want install a PC play MP3 on my car,I can deal with all other
components without any problem, but I dunno
the final step which is the most important step too. How to hook the output from my SB Live into the CRV's audio system?

You need to check your car stereo head unit to see if there are auxiliary inputs in the back of it. If it does not, you may be able to get an adapter to get some if you have a Pioneer or Kenwood unit. Otherwise you will have to resort to a tape adapter or an FM modulator (the kind they use with cd changer addins).

Hi,
My dad's Honda CRV99 has DIN type casette deck. He uses a simple tape adapter. This is prob'ly the easiest and least expensive way to hook up your SB to your car.
A friend of mine who has Pioneer blah blah P4000 single cd receiver uses IP BUS-RCA adapter to route the connection thru his cd receiver.
Another friend uses RCA connectors on the amp.
One way or the others you'll find a way to do it. It's not impossible.

Sorry, I forgot to mention FM modulators. Unless you live in country side rural areas DONT BUY IT! In large city there's too much radio interference.

so all I can do now is just take the desh board apart and take a look what's inside?

I can't speak from experience, as I've never actually seen the back on one of these radios, but it is EXTREMELY unlikely that you have aux inputs on the back of your head unit. Best bet is to get a pioneer and the auxillary input adaptor for it.
