    Win 98 safe mode

I have had a car mp3 player running successfully for the last 9 - 10 months, I am using winamp with win98, an IRman 6.4G hard drive etc. Over-all it has been a pretty wild machine. However every time I start my car and stop it again before Windows finishes booting, I get safe mode next time I boot up.
Does anyone have a solution for this (like disabling safe mode or something like that).

look for a utility program called tweakui at microsoft's site. This will disable the scanning and safe mode problem.

Any idea why Windows thinks its neccessary to start in safe mode if it doesn't finish booting on the previous power up?

Snakebite: Windows will restart in safe mode if your computers is not shut down correctly becuase, Windows sense;s there was a problem in your PC becuase It wasnt closed correctly. then windows will open up Safe mode so that you can fix any problems

Thanks ZyKlon X. Just another question for maxtech981, Which version of Tweakui can disable safe mode. The version I have been using to disable scandisk does not seem to have this feature (or am I looking in the wrong place). Thanks in advance.
