How many UK or European MP3 cars are there out there?

I think the title said it all...
Mine went on its maiden voyage this morning...
Not too bad, there was a slight whine over the speakers, ground loop I think, and the the inverter overheated and cut-out...
Time for another fan I think...

    Later guys...

I'm in the UK too. My MP3Car is very much under construction at the moment, but the LCD display is working and looks VERY cool.

I just need an inverter and keypad or remote and the installation can begin.

    Mr Stenson!
    What can I say? Suberb!
Puts my monster to shame, your player is tiny in its (no offense) sandwich box, compared to my suitcase!

You will need that -5v & -12v power though, to use the Evation IRman! I've got one already, works fine on my PC and the setup runs OK, but then it just doesn't work in use!? (may post this seperately too), So I just use a joypad to control it! Cool!

    Nice site too!

Thanks for the compliment !! )

I have emailed the bloke you makes the IR box and he stated that it did NOT require -5 and -12V to run.

I can only take his word - anybody else got any comments on this?

BTW the PSU does not run hot at all - only warm to the touch on the heatsinks.
