how to fix ribon cable on touch screen.

my ribbon cable broke on my touch screen during shipping. is thare anyway for me to fix it?

thats what i was going to do but someone seed it might be a ez fix.. i dont see how it can be ez.. looks hard to me.. its sandwitched in the glass busted touch screen

If its broke inside the glass your probably screwed. I tore my ribbon cable, but it was on the connector side. To fix it, I cut it completely in two, then I just scraped off all the plastic covering the flat metal ribbon on both ends of the cut, I then soldered 1 cut end on top of the other cut end and bam it works again.
