    Post audio cable question

    ok, currently on my newly aquired carputer i am using a cassette adapter..to extend the 1/8inch audio cable on that can i just splice it open and extend it with normal speaker cable? (two wires) thanks,

    Yes but it will take 3 wires. Left, Right, and Ground. You may get cleaner sound though by just buying a 1/8" extender cable at Radio Shack that plugs right in instead of adding your own wire but I'm sure either way will work.
