    Actually I enjoyed the post about the PIC based mp3 player. I feel it was pretty relevant. The post that I feel was wasteful and off topic was yours DriverDan.

    I enjoyed the link as well but it deserved it's own topic. It really has nothing to do with boot time other than it boots quickly.

    I still run the same system I ran back in '99.
    Old Systems retired due to new car
    New system at design/prototype stage on BeagleBoard.

    ROFL. I started readying the thread and wondered why the crap everyone that was posting had such crappy system specs. Then I realized this thread is OLD!
