    Question LCD display

Has anyone used one of these.

    640 x 480 LCD
    $19.00

Originally designed for Sharp laptop computer LM64194F note pad. Built-in digitizer (was to be used with a stylus - not included) 5v and 18v opertion.
    Dim: 8" x 5.75"
    Viewing Area: 6" x 4.5"
    Dot size: .21mm x .21mm

It would be great to use a stylus for input. But the price tells me this is something that wouldn't work for an in car screen.

Here is the URL. Didn't see a part number. http://www.digisys.net/timeline/lcd.html#640
On the same page there is also a 6 inch VGA display that looks promising. What do you think. Not much info on their page. I may call them on Monday and ask som questions.

Its not color, but the $25 doller one is. They're both STN, not TFT, which means that it will be impossible to see in sunlight. You'll also need a controller card and custom cable kit, which can be anywhere from $100-$300.
