    Question Hmm...from where on the inverter do I earth!

    Ok so I have the Powerwatts inverter,and as far As I know you should earth it,to cut out any NOISE!,,So how do I do this,,do I use the earth on the inverters Plug(same earth as the computer),,

    Where are you from?

    Actually it is called to ground, not to earth. I don't even know if everybody in here understood what you were saying...

    (If it's okey to say earth in english/american, it is just my english/american which sucks)

    Anyways, on to the question; To ground something, you connect it to the car chassis. Scrap of any paint/dirt from the point you deside to use, to ensure optimum contact.

    Yes, I know you GROUNd by connecting to the cars body, but what I'm asking is, On the inverter where you plug in the 3 point plug
    (L,N,and ground) Do I the same ground to ground the inverter to the car's body?
    Hope this question make's sence,O'ya and I'm from south africa,and this ain't my first laung,So don't get to P*st off..

    there was a discusing on this a few days ago
    most ppl are grounding there invertor from a metal part of the inverter
