Well, the message says most of this topic but let me elaborate. I am running win95, winamp, and palmamp. I have put a motherboard, lan card, sounds card, hard drive, and power supply all in a rubbermaid tub (kinda looks like an Imac). Everything fits great but there is one problem. The pc won't operate without a keyboard. It won't even go past the bios startup. Any suggestions?

Well, I already tried disabling it in the Bios. Here is the problem. It's a HP motherboard - I used it because #1 I had it, #2 it had onboard sound and video. There isn't anything in the BIOS that supported a "no keyboard" setup.
As a workaround, I just took a regualar keyboard, removed it's shell, folded (not creased) the keyboard with a piece of paper inbetween the contacts, and then taped it all together using scotch tape. Then I put it in a plastic zip-lock bag to keep it from coming loose. I then put it in the case so no one could see it... works like a charm! This setup is nice and clean!
But, if you can think of a better method, believe me - I'm ALL ears!

Well you can take it one step further. Take the brains out leving the rest of the keyboard home. I know a company that has done this on one of their servers to make an internal keyboard. This to reboot the machine remotly with out having the error of no keyboard coming up.
If you have gone this far cool. If not do so it should take up less space.
There are many companies that sell BIOS updates. I can't find the company name, but if you do a search on the Web, you should find a lot. They might have one that will give you the option of bypassing the keyboard on boot up.
i agree with cyber_mage.... most modern keyboards have a small pcb about 2" by 3" the keyboard just plugs into this two membrain connectors.just keep the keyboard leed and you should be laughing !! ;-))
