S1 Standby Power Consumption Drain Battery?

I was wondering if I could keep my computer in S1 Standby mode instead of S3 Suspend to RAM and be able to keep the computer on all night long. I know that I would be ok with S3...it even shut off my CPU fan. With S1 I noticed the USB devices remain powered and the CPU fan is still on. I could use a hub for the USB devices and manualy turn them on or something, I'm not worried about that. I'm worried about the actual computer drawing too much power from the battery overnight. I have a 4.5Ah tank battery hooked up and don't have room for another battery.

I think it would be risky. One night may be OK, but why not just use S3?

Because my touchscreen driver prevents my system from going into S3 standby mode. I heard theres a version that fixes this. Know anything about it? It's a Lilliput...

I think the lilliput and the xenarc use the same touch screen hardware. The latest xenarc touch screen driver I use works fine in S3 standby.

It's not beta?...I think I've seen the link to that somewhere...

I'll give it a try tonight. God_of_cpu what driver version is yours? 3.2.1?
