I have a datalux Lmv10r and it is not working with the cappuccino PC I just bought. I called Datalux and they suggesed that it is because the voltage comming from the PC in incorrect. I understand this can be modified but I have been unsuccessful in finding plans online. PLEASE HELP!!! I have $1000 worth of electronics on my kitchen table that is laughing at me!!!
Actually the Datalux receives the signal, but it needs 5.0V to turn on. With 3.3 it thinks it's in standby. So technically if you get a VGA extender/booster that should work since 99% of those output 5V.
Basically to modify it internally, you intercept the H and V sync wires and jump them up by one of several ways, though there are not really any conclusive plans and there are several different models of the LV10 series which vary internally.

The mod to make the datalux LMV10R monitor work on the video cards and motherboards that use 3.3V sync signals instead of 5V has been discussed before in previous posts.
The Datalux LMV10R monitor needs a 5V Hsync and Vsync signal to work, while it works with most video cards there are some that only output 3.3V. So either buy a video card that outputs 5V and works with the lmv10r (I own a datalux lmv10r and mine works great with both the Nvidia Geforce and the ATI Radeon), or try this mod to make it work with any video card...
