    Sorry to revive this, but i just found this through a search and I remember the discussion... frodo has the unit come around? I remember seeing something, but cant find it right now...

    Or if someone else wants to tip in, I want a unit that can do movement lockout, rear cam trigger, maybe some realys and such...

    Anyone thought of using a MAX232 or Analog IC in place of the relay's?

    The relay is for isolation. The Max232 does ttl/rs232 level conversion. How would you use it in place of the relay?

    This is a really cool device! I've been reading this thread, and my question would be why not disable video, dvd and others directly from Windows (I don't know if that's actually possible) instead from a front end.

    Or, to make it legal, let's say you disable everything needed from Frodo player, but then, would it be possible that as long as the handbrake is not turned on, you can only run Frodoplayer?
