reset your cmos, i think there is a setting that disables vga and only runs the TV out
So I start up my carputer the other day, and I get a "no vga signal" on the lilliput, I
I check all the extension connections, and one of them is loose, so i reconnect it..
I start back up and still no signal,
THen I take the lilliput inside and try it on my home computer, it works..
Then I bring a regular monitor down to my carputer, and It also gets no signal.....
So in conclusion, The mother board is not putting out a proper vga signal (everything boots up and is fine elsewise as far as I know on the MB)...
What are the possible causes of this? (loose connection?)
Can I fix this without buying an entirely new motherboard..?

.. but only the very first boot up screen shows
It shows a big graphical "Syntax"(name of motherboard) and then goes blank, and that's all I see.

I had a similar problem when I connected a usb device that the usb contoller was not properly installed. When I was stuck in that black screen, if i disconnected the usb device, windows will load up fully. Check your hardware device manager to see if the usb controller does not have an exclamation next to it. If so, just reinstall the drivers. Hope this helps
