Display features!!!!
I had an idea today, but I am sure that won't work!!!
Is it possible (using VGA and TV outputs) to drive 2 screens but displaying different things??
for instance, I will be installing a small TFT on the drivers A-pillar and yould wlike to have my OBD displayed there and a Xenarc as my main monitor (displaying something else!!!)
i know this can be done with 2 computers (no way installing 2 in the car
Any ideas???????
Just one program tobe displayed on the TV-out and on the VGA the rest (as normal)!!!!

Yes, you can. Depending on your video card manufacturer the driver should allow you to do this. I know ATI & geforce do this, not sure about the ITX one. you can set up which programs get sent to which screen too. Bah didn't see the description way over to the right of the screen that tells everyone that.

Check your driver, you obviously have to have TV out, but yes, most gforces do allow this. You can allow a clone of the other monitor too, or window spanning, and lots of other stuff. Just take a look at the application that came with your geforce, I think NVieW is the one nvidea created. if not i believe it could probably be done with third party software.
I am trying nview right now... But it only has clone and splicing the display at two!!!

I know about that.. My problem is that there is no setting about which process displays on what screen!!!!
you just drag winamp over to witch ever you want
This is something like stretching your desktop!!!!
I wouldn't like that because if I run i.e. mediaengine thetn I would have a problem, right???
After some search on the nview, what I want would work FINE with a second display with VGA input!!!!
So, my question now... Which is the smallest LCD with VGA input??
