no 5 secs, remember you have to have 12V on both inputs for anything to happen.

My ITPS won't automatically turn on my PC after 2 seconds.. What's going on?
It turns on the constant power/ground for my PC, but I have to push the POWER button to make it turn on.
My ITPS has a small jumper on it to hook up a signal wire for the power button. I hooked this up (I T-spliced into my existing power wires (green/white) so that I could still use the power button if need be -- and I need to now it seems).
So any idea?
What should the ITPS power signal wire show on a voltmeter after 2 seconds?
Thanks in advance!

Oh, and it should show 12V or thereabouts after the 5 secs. Try pulling off your power jumper and putting the itps directly on the jumper connector instead.

It didn't come with leads, so I had to splice into a jumper-connector (2-pin)...
I'll take the voltmeter to it and let you know what I find..
sq, polarity matters on the jumper... try turning it around.
Also sometimes the ITPS struggles to send the signal after the power is being supplied, particularly with inverters. Is it turning it off automatically? If so just set the bios to power on, on AC power return, that will work just as well.
