From what I can tell the Extigy has a remote, a lower SNR and takes 12v instead of 5v. Are these the only differences?
I would search some more, but I probably just sold my mp3+ which means I have to make a decision and order as soon as possible.

Okay, I bought an Audigy 2 NX. Does anyone know how to activate the sub channel without bass redirection? If I just run one of the other channels to the sub, I won't be able to adjust the sub's frequency response --same problem if I use the center channel, although that way I'll be able to adjust the sub's volume at least. That will probably be my temporary solution.
