    EPIA M 10000, dual display

Is it possible to use two different displays, one via VGA and the other via composite viewing different applications.

Ie see DVD on svedio / composite and say media car on the vga.

No. You'll need to get an ATI 7500 PCI or better or a GeForce xxxx PCI video card that supports dual monitors.

Yes. A search in the LCD/Display forum will support this and you will find out what others have done. I have tried to use the on board VGA and composit out AND with a seperate PCI video card without success. I am currently running an ATI 7500 PCI with dual monitor support and can run seperate applications in seperate monitors with mixed results. I have found the video to be taxing the processor to the max with slight pauses in extreme action /sound. Task manager displays 92+ percent CPU usage with video running and most all other services turned off (wireless nic etc.). There are very little resources left to do GPS nav and the like, resulting in either poor or no performance of these other applications. I have not researched this any further due to summer, other projects and me just wanting to enjoy my system.

why don't you just buy a VGA splitter to split the signal? unless you want to scroll from one screen to the other, then you need a card with dual outputs
