Post Good Comp for MP3car system?

Is this computer pretty decent for the system I want?
    Etower 366id
    366mhz celeron
5x DVD with DVDExpress software and ecoder card. Built in sound with Line out.
for $300. I gonna take it apart if I get it. It's either this or save longer and get a bookPC for more money. What do u guys think?PS. Im gonna do Win98lite since ill only be using DVD GPS and Winamp...

Well, personally I would stay away from Emachines becuase they are designed for low cost no matter how low the quality must be. A book PC would be a better choice, but just remember that you have no expansion slots, no hardware DVD decoding, and no serial ports.
The way things are looking right now, its probably a better idea to just get an MATX MB and stack up all the vid/sound cards with riser cards and build your own case. Oh well, good luck with what ever you decide.

But i wouldn't need highquality for doing only three things... And you can get a bookpc with DVD and Im guessing if it has dvd it has a decoder. I dunno if i would really need a serial port... I have never built my own system before but it seems like it would cost more to by a Micro ATX motherboard, case and video card with dvd decoding and video out and sound card with line out and harddrive compared to all of this in one package for $300 (etower price excluding Signal Converter)

    For $300 that's not a bad price.
My friend has an eMachines with a DVD Rom and it works great, I don't know about putting it in a car since his is in his house. Good Luck!
