    Is there a way to run notebook hdds on SATA? Without having to go from notebook hdd->IDE adapter->SATA adapter

    I don't think that Mini-PCI adapter will work - not enough room. What would be needed would be something flexible. Hopefully by the time it is rolled out they will be available.
