Planning on putting Laptop under seat. Need help.

I have a 1ghz laptop with a 10gig HD a DVD player and a 15" SXGA display. It cannot really mount anywhere on my dash so I plan on putting it under the seat with a docking station with a car power supply adapter so I can pull it out of my car and use the laptop for other things.

My question is how will I connect a LCD or TFT to my unit? I have VGA out, S-Vid out, and Composite out. Which method is best? I prefer vga. What LCD's will work? Can I get a touchscreen?

If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great.

Wow...that's a lot more to ask than you think. Try taking a look at some of the examples that are linked from the front page. Specifically, this one might help you with some ideas. Also look around at some of the back posts on the bb here by using the search feature. One more piece of advice, it's best to post one question per post, and be pretty specific if you want to get more answers.

Why exactly are you putting such a good laptop in your car? And old Toshiba 233mhz or something would do the same job, and could be had for a few hundred, not thousand.

Why, because I allready own the laptop and if I wanna use another older PC that would just cost me extra money.
Eventually after using my laptop for temp, I will maybe save up for a armcomputer.
