So are you serious about this or what? Are you just blowing steam? Do you have the resources and skill to build one let alone manufacture many? This will be months ifnot years off wouldn't you say?

I'm very serious about this antimatter.
It's just that because of the time difference, I was sleeping when the party here began

This is a DIY project not a production line. My bussiness partner was working as an electronics engineer in Philips Hellas (Greek branch of the company) and he has the resources and connections to pull this out.
I'll try to keep this as non commercial as possible. This means that when the device's design is complete and we have a working prototype, the schematics will be available here for dl. If someone feels confortable soldering SMD components he can do it on his own. We will provide the board+components as a kit or a fully assembled board but it won't be necessary to buy from us.
    Build your own.
As for how much time this is gonna take we believe about 2-3 months tops.
For now we'd like to gather info and ideas from you so this will be something that fits our needs in the car.

    So some more info:
The device will consist of 3 ic's. The first is an all-in-one FM/AM tuner/demodulator chip made by philips (model TEF6700HL).
The second ic is a philips RDS/RBDS pre-processor (model SAA6588).
The third ic is a USB I/O chip (Cypress Semiconductors AN2131QC USB micro-controller).
All the components utilize the IC interface and talk to each other and eventually to the USB.

So frodo and hybrid people are you in for this?
If so drop me a PM

    SWEET!

ok, now, I want 4, one is for Frodo, one for car, one for work, and one for home now too.

What other incentives / resources do you need?
