Sounds great. I hope you can make this happen. I will do anything to help as well. Good luck.

I don't have the sample ic's yet delivered from philips!!!
I can't give you an accourate price tag but I think it will be around $50-$60.
It all depends on how much components we will order (which in turn depends on how many of you guys are interested).
For now just keep those ideas flowing....
yeah 4 my way, maybe even some on ebay!
it is hard not to be excited this is what I have been waiting for to replace my HU.

Why not? Good idea. One less cable to route+better reception. CoolOriginally Posted by vipergda

What about an antenna that is removable and when you remove the OE antenna you can use that port to plug in the car antenna?

What frequencies are those?Originally Posted by lawrence

If it is then it's up to the coders here to make it happen![]()
This is absolutely great news !
If it's going to work and the radio-reception is good , I for sure want one.
Hopefully the design will be 100% smd-components, small and beatyfull ;-)
Sounds good but what I'd like to hear from you guys,at least for now, is what features you'd like to see implemented. Choosing the antenna connector is not difficult.Originally Posted by GruvThang
