^^bump^^ anyone please?
Hey, I have a 03 TL and I installed one of those Blitzsafe Adapters which basically gives me a AUX input into the stock HU.
Well anyway, I hooked it all up and then I plug in the PC, Stereo mini to Y cable RCA. There is a lot of humming and buzzing noise. I did a search and several people said it is a bad ground or use a Ground Loop Isolator. From what I understand the Ground Loop Isolator does not eliminate the noise, just cut it down. When I threw my laptop in there, it did the same thing but once I removed the power cord that connected it to the inverter that I had the noise stopped. The inverter could be on but as long as it is not powering the item I have it does not make that noise.
Next I tried a PS2 and powered it from an extension cord from inside the house and it would still make that humming/buzzing noise. It is pretty loud and is driving me insane. If I use the Tape Cassette adapter to the laptop or PC it works just fine, no noise at all.
What are my solutions or options? Thanks a lot guys!

Does this adapter get power?
Does it make noise when the aux input is not selected and the radio is on?? I have an inverter setup and whenever mine is plugged in it makes noise thru the system, even makes noise when im not on aux mode. I have two inverters one coleman 400watt and a tripplight 140 watt. The tripplite does not make any noise whereas the coleman has alternator whine and regular interferance..
The AUX IN adapter does not have a external power, it taps off the back off the headunit. When the AUX input is not selected it is all cool, no buzz or humm. Only when the AUX IN and an item is connected that is powered by the inverter.
How do you have the inverter wired?

You just removed the ground loop.Originally Posted by Bxscig
Did you have the PS2 plugged into a screen at the same time? Does the noise go away if you disconnect the PS2 from everything but the audio feed and the main feed from the house?Originally Posted by Bxscig
Tape adapters are magnetically coupled. No ground connection, therefore no ground loop.Originally Posted by Bxscig

The PS2 was not plugged into the screen. The noise DOES goes away when I disconnect everything but the audio but since there is no power going to the PS2 there is no noise.Did you have the PS2 plugged into a screen at the same time?
