i used plumber tape, works great, and many have used it.
my case is completely unsecured in my trunk right now and can slide around as much as it wants
i wanted to use velcro but the carpet in the trunk doesnt "stick" to the velcro
im bone dry on ideas

It's like strips of metal, with holes in it for screws.

You can try using adhesive velcro-like interlocking fasteners, if the adhesive glue works in your carpet.

I remember one of these 3m velcro-like fasteners that had a picture of it holding a fire-extinguisher on a vertical cabinet door! Maybe you could even try putting your case vertically against the trunk side wall if it is flat enough(with one side leaning on the floor, of course).
I put my carpc vertical on the side of the trunk and attached with a strong velcro tape. I am very curious if it's going to stay that way.Originally Posted by crisr
