Regular PC into carputer possible?

Folks,

I'm wondering if anyone has converted a regular PC for use in the car environment? If so are there any pics of the unit and mounting?

Check the project threads.... plenty of examples. Most of us are using a motherboard that was made for a case on/under a desk.

Read a lot more, tons of answers are available.

I used to have just a standard mini tower case strapped in my trunk with bungie cords. Worked quite well, only thing I had to do was extend the power led and the power button. For that I just used an old serial connector so it could be disconnected when I needed to take the PC inside.
