    Slimline slot loading CD-roms for $3.99

    I'm holding out for a DVD one, but I'm sure this can be good for many.

    Cheap drive, bad face plate and an unconventional mac-like ide converter is required (ie more expensive). However, at that price.....

    well i paid 205 for my DVD/CDRW black slim slot with IDE converter
    (in aus)

    Just a note, these will not take 3" discs. I took the faceplate off mine, and the arms that tell it that there's a disc are 4" apart.

    lol half a pint of lager man beer is expensive these days...............one of the many drawbacks of living in this fine country is that we have to pay loads for beer
