I'm building a carputer for my vehicle and need a little helping picking out some parts. i'm trying not to go broke on this project so if you guys could please help me out..........I'm gonna try and purchase everything from Newegg.com that way i can buy everything at once.

all in an old bit of metal
all for under £20
and now a 500watt inverter for £20
thats £40 in total
not too bad for a noob

Ahh.. I'm in Doncaster. Yeah I love mini's - I wouldn't mind having one as a pet project and just going crazy with the gizmo's!
Id dump the amd board and go with a intel ,runs cooler and faster. Trust me cause Im a AMD man .I run a opteron fx at home but the car is better intel! and go with a ati 9000 or 9200 thay use less voltage and the graphics are nice for a low level card.
www.pricewatch.com is our friend. NewEgg lists some stuff on there.
Any Socket A AMD processor from: my old 1400+ to my new 2800+ would work.
It really depends on what you want to do. Some of these guys are running 600mhz systems... in which case, I have some old Slot A mobo and processor combos (550mhz)
