After following Enforcer's instructions, IBUSCOMM.exe runs.
When you do run it, you might think it has done nothing - but look down at your taskbar and it will be there, running minimized.
Click it on your taskbar and you can see a log, simulate a IBUS message, exit the program, etc. Now I just need Rolf's connector (sent him paypal money but have not yet received a confirmation). Funny how some of us start with the hardware then search for the software and vice versa :google:
Anyone else with an e39 (especially M5 with the widescreen NAV) who can post their learning experiences? It would be very helpful to learn from others who have already mapped keys to various buttons. I'd like to take advantage of a bunch of the buttons from the radio/nav and maybe even map a command to "PAUSE" my player when the cell phone "MUTE" command is sent to the radio/CD.
