Yes
I'm wondering if I can use a laptop hard drive adapter to run a laptop CD Drive in my desktop computer.
Are you completely sure, can I get a second on that? I'm sorry it's just that I don't want to waste money.
Sorry I was being sarcastic, no you cannot. A laptop HDD uses what's like a mini IDE cable looking deal whereas a laptop CD-ROM has a small little connector I've never seen on anything else. I thought the question was semi obvious. I got a laptop CD-ROM adapter on e-bay for like..$1.50, plus $4 shipping or so.
