Gyration Wirless Suite - How to get cradle for mouse in car?

If you have a gyration, you know the battery life on the mouse is pretty poor. Is there any way to get the charger into a car? It runs off of 9v, and I can't think of any 9v sources. Any ideas?

You can get an adapter at Wal-Mart or radio shack to reduce 12v to 9v.

I think it's the fact that you capitalized every word, not the fact you work at walmart or that the adapter is only $12.

Do those voltage adapters introduce noise like inverters do? Another reason why I would be hesitant to go that route is that the ground wires in those cigarette plugs are usually very thin and hard to work with.

I've also seen voltage regulators. Would something like this work: http://www.radioshack.com/product.as...%5Fid=276-1778 I'm not really sure how to wire those up or how they can be adjusted. I've seen some regulators that have a fixed output voltage of 9v, but couldn't find anything at radio shack.

No they don't add noise usually, they are just regulators. And you can snip
off the plug and wire it direct.

Yeah, but they are a bit bulky. Anyone know about that adjustable regulator at rat shack?
