Post How To: Power, Startup, Shutdown, Windows Media 7, BookPC

Probably gona use a BookPC with ATX board, 100watt PWRSPLY, 128Ram, DVD, 533MHZ, 20G HD. Yes, I know its overkill, but hey its just money right?

Anyway how do I power this in my car?

What is the best coverter for the job?(confused about this one...DCDC???)

    Do I need fuse protection?

How do I automatically shutdown and startup computer with ignition?(I dont have a serial port)

Can I leave computer on in suspend mode without draining battery?

Anyone out there using BookPC? How is it? Soundquality?

I really like the new Windows Media Player 7 Beta. Is there plugins for this?

    Sorry for so many questions....

Here is the one I got. 12V DC-DC 250 watt ATX 2.01 compliant. If you are going over the top spare-no-expense-to get-it-right give this a shot if you call them its $145 I think. Just like an atx but wire 12V inputs instead of a plug and fits where a standard ATX power supply would go in a case. Has worked perfectly for me. http://www.casedepot.com/index.cfm?d...&ProductID=222
