I agree about the fact that theese carputers are very personalised, but who can make such a small and beautiful carputer? I am surprised that the big companies such as Alpine and such haven't produced carputers. Why don't carputers turn into business?

Time will come, as soon as we see one mass produced carPC the rest will follow...I guess the beginning of the carPC craze is about to begin.

I cant wait to see PSU much much better than OPUS being sold for 50USD, 8" SVGA screen for 100USD...just like the normal price of a desktop PC. Intel making low powered CPU? MS making Windows carPC Edition? 1 DIN case form factor? GPS software made for carPC?

Oh yes competition and demand is good, right now we are having to pay high price because there isnt one

Some big companies have. My first carputer was a Clarion AutoPC.

There are several made by big companies but they usually cost a lot and aren't as customizable or cool.

No, I don't work for them. I speak the same language they speak and excited to see new product.
