    Amp alternative?

Is there an alternative to an amp for replacing my head unit? I just don't have room for an amp. I have stock speakers so I don't need a great deal of power.

Some kind of amplifier is needed to power speakers. You don't have room under any seats, on the back of them, in the glove box?

I used to have an Alpine amp that was only about 9"L x 3"W x 1.5"H. It was only a 2 channel amp that put out like 20 watts RMS per channel. (this is going by memory)
My point being you might just have room for an amp and don't know about it. All I can suggest is to take a look around and see what you can find.

Oh ya, by the way be leary of some cheaper brand amps, they often times don't actually put out any where near as much power as they claim!!
