i dont sit in the passenger seat alot. my headunit can store 6 settings so u can set it up for different seats and positions. it would sound off but not as bad as not having it on at all. the major difference is the sub position (from the boot) and the rear and fronts since in my 2 door car the front speakers are actually further away from the front seats than the rear speakers. sitting in the back would b bad i recon. it'd lack the high frequency staging from the tweeters, u'd hear much more mid bass and low bass

Interesting. I'll have to give it a try. I have two component sets. Up front I have 1" tweeters in the A pillars and 6.5 mids in the door. The rear is similar but 3/4" tweeters and they are placed in front the door handles. I think my Santa Cruz control panel allows some soft of delay but not sure how "tweakable" the settings are. I'll let you know.

Here's a nice sound card bench mark website you might want to check out:http://www.pcavtech.com/soundcards/compare/

I'm usuing a TB Santa Cruz. A great "band for buck" card.
