    CTX ExBook 700 a Question and some free stuff...

    Can i use a laptop touch pad? and how.
    Also can anyone USE the little screen and keyboard? Also there is some ram dont know the size. Its all free. besides the big screen and mouse pad, they are mine hehe.

    Little screen, probably not, most laptop status displays have just a few static images on them to show battery life and charging status and such rather than a full array of pixels. The keyboard would need to be interfaced to a keyboard controller. If the touchpad has a small chip on the back, look up the part number for it, see if you can find the pinout, and then trace those pins to the ribbon cable. If it's PS/2, you can just solder a normal PS/2 mouse cable to the ribbon or the connector and make use of it that way.

    Thanks. Yep the pad has a chip or board on the back of it. Ill look it up tonight. Thanks for the help.
