    Question Odd GF3 Issues

Last night I had everything built, and the computer booted and loaded up MediaCar just fine... but when I updated to the new Detonators, I'm not getting any display on the screen after the drivers load (I can still see it go through POST and everything, and the Windows loading screen). I've checked and unchecked the box in the nVidia control panel that's there if the TV isn't detected, but apparently it's not forcing output to the S-Video port. The card is a GeForce 3 Ti 500, and I had to use a S-Video to RCA converter for everything to work with the garbage LCD I have. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Solder a 100Ohm resistor between the rca wires, this may force detection of the TV output.

That wasn't very specific, but I think I understand what you mean. However, from what I understand, the converter has that same resistor built into it already.
