In response to my own thread (oh yeah, very cool) I have found the following.

The unit is called the VPC-1000 and has gotten favorable reviews. Evidently, this little device has an FM receiver, can play MP3's without a computer, a fold down VFD screen, Remote Control and fits in a 5.25 inch computer slot , or your DIN dash with some fiberglass lovin.

Looks like it's on sale here for $149.00. I'll order one and let you guys know how it works out.

I saw a preview of this about a year ago and I thought it looked good then, will definately be on the look out for one, I wonder if you can control the FM Radio via software???
