Direct Xm working as a XMPCR!!

well i had stereo shop do it for me. plus you dont live in same city as me. i live in middle of nowhere. i live in tavares. not orlando. only reason i said xm sux is cuz of the price $10 a month plus $109 of the receiver if it comes out. i can save that an get a 200gb h.d and have 200g.b music. right now i got over 60Gb of music.so i think thats enough for me.

Yeah I just was checking on it and saw it was deleted. It seems the guys on that site are under the control of XM. That is to bad because it was looking promising. I hope someone on this site can get it done and share the info with the rest of us.

How's the sound quality on this direct xm unit, btw? Compared to xmpcr with the toslink interface installed, is it better/same/worse?

We officialy have the interface cables for xmDirect.

The interface comes with a SDK for your own software integration and a copy of MMC Alpha 5 Rev 6 with enhanced xm control for the xmDirect, xmCommander. soon there will be a plugin for timetraxx as well.

The Price is 40.00 plus S+H 5.00 (priority mail)

That sounds like a much better price. Any pictures? How is it powered? Any way to use XMPCR software already available?

its powered from the dsub side you will have to input the 12v from you car there.

I will put pictures on tomarrow

we will provide an SDK for developers to adapt existing software to it.

as far as timetraxx goes we are working a deal with them for our SDK and licenses as well as interface cables
