    Question BookPC trouble

    Has anyone had problems setting up their BookPC? I just installed Hard Drive, RAM and CPU and all I get is long beeps when I power up. the monitor is blank!

    I actually had the same problem with my BookPC. I solved it first by playing with the RAM slots. First making sure it was secure and locked down tight, then switching the RAM to the other slot and trying again. Neither worked for me so I took out the CMOS battery, booted it once without it, once everything was detected I turned it off and put the battery back in and everything worked like a charm. Hope that helped

    I just got mine and had the same problem. The problem is the memory isn't completely seated. You gotta like put your whole body weight behind it to get it in almost.

    the RAM was the culprit, everything is working fine now. Thanks for the tips, topperge and psalmx. In response to the above question, I wasn't happy yesterday, but I am today!!
