You'll have to make somethihng. The drives aren't as wide as the DIN slot.Originally Posted by egeekial

I know things like this exist, but it's still for a 5.25 slot in a computer, and I'd still have to mess with it.
Bah. That's exactly what I didn't want to hear. No easy tricks or anything? I'm just going to have to fab something out of sheet metal and plastic?Originally Posted by DarquePervert
you'll have about a half inch gap on each side and tiny gap vertically. I doubt anyone makes a 5.25 to DIN adapter, so it will have to be a custom job

go to home depot and use something called lexan. it's in the door and window section, right next to the plexiglass, 1 foot away. they sell it in 1/8 sheets, it's exactly like plexiglass, except in higher thicknesses, it's bulletproof. i just built a trim for my dash out of 1/8" plexiglass and it snapped when it flexed a little bit. i had a scrap piece of lexan and i can bend it clean without it breaking. it's solid. it looks, cuts, and sands like plexi but a hell of a lot stronger. build yourself a trim piece and just paint it to match the dash.
