I have an Epia800 with room for one PCI card, what should i get?

HI, i have built a custom case for my carPC which is very low (6cm high), so that it fits under my seat. In this case i will have room for ONE PCI card, with the use of a PCI Riser.

Now the question is, what should i get? My current specs are:
    Epia 800
    512MB RAM
6GB HDD (soon to be upgraded to 20GB)
    SlotLoad DVD drive (slim)

There are 2 options i am currently considering:
PCI Video Card with TV out
    * gives me more video capabilities; should make DVDs smooth etc
    * means i cant add external HDDs or relocate my DVD drive

    USB2.0 Card
    * gives me more options on where to mount the DVD drive (currently only possible to mount vertically on the centre console between the seats, with 18" IDE cables)
    * Although no point in having USB2.0 data rates from my DVD drive if my video card cant play DVD video!!

Any ideas/tips? I am currently happy with the sound output of my Epia, so i havent really considered a soundcard (although i am open to other suggestions)

    Anyone?

Have the same board, if I were going to do it over again I'd buy the M10000, guess it pays to not be so cheap. Personally I'd go with the USB 2.0 card, this also gives you the benefit of being able to use a USB 802.11G adapter. Can't do that with the V8000's USB since I think it's only around 12Mbps.

Yeah, i bought the Motherboard before finding this site; so i didnt know what else there was available. I got it very cheap though (second hand); and to this day i still havent seen any cheap M series motherboards for sale in Australia...

I dont currently have a wireless network at home, so i didnt plan on putting a wireless adapter on it (what do you use it for?)

    The case looks like this:

Where the PCI Card would sit away from the motherboard to the left.

Is there any other way of adding USB2.0 if i were to go for the video card? (other than buying an M series?)

I've got an idea. Get a dual pci riser card. Then you can do both. http://www.mini-itx.com/store/default.asp?c=8#p1902

If you only need USB 1.0 you can always add a hub externally and hide it somewhere. If you will be running anything graphics intensive (especially using 3D accelleration) go for the video card. The built-in graphics hardware on the Epias (even the M10000) seems pretty weak. Plus, you'll get more flexibility in the screen resolutions you can choose.

It says that it faces the PCI cards AWAY from the motherboard. What's up with that??

Cause it's for the slim cases. has to aim it away from the board, cause if it was on the same side, it would have to be alot taller to clear all the connectors and such.

This would basically double the length and heigh of the EPIA....

Well, in this case i will need to have it facing away from the motherboard. But it cant go much higher than the IO ports on the back of the Mobo (hence why i cannot use a dual PCI riser. The entire case is only 6cm high!

To tell the truth i am not sure whether i *NEED* a video card, but i've heard that DVD playback and DiVX playback is alot smoother with a Vid card (currently skips a little on DVDs). That and it will mean the processor is not 100% occupied, so i can use navigation at the same time...
