Anyone ever decided to skip the $300 dollar opus option and just go for one of these babies , and a ac-dc converter?
Seems like it would be cheaper, and equally beneficial, save for shutdown controller.

tried it didnt work power inverter> battery back> power supply.
power inverter makes battery back up think it has a bad power source.
169.00 for sine wave inverter + 69.00 ( 19.00 + 40.00 rebate you will never see) = 238.00/ 199.00 for opus ( shut down control, reliable,works every time ) i know what i have. what will you be getting soon?
