    Mp3 decoder chips...

    I know this is a long shot but, is there any
    way to hook up an mp3 chip to a car CD player
    so i can play burned mp3 cd's?

    You can but you may also need to get an electrical engeiring degree.

    The decoding chips that are available only receive digital data.

    You could potentally use the data to feed into a a/d converter then into a decoder chip, yet you still wind up with some technical problems.

    the easy aswer is to get a cd-rom drive computer/decoder chip/sound card soulution.
