I put the PC parts in a smaller box.
I use velcro, which great with the carpet.
How are you mounting the PC in place? Mine is flat on the trunk but I'm wondering what the best Idea is to keep it there.... I would also need to remove it at times for maintenance...
Any Suggestions?

Heh, I used silicon to hold mine in the dash. Oh yeah, and a big screw.
Hrmmm Velcro..... never thought of that for the PC....
Out of curiosity what kind of smaller box are you using? I'd really like to shrink this monstrous thing down.
Got any Pics?
*EDIT*: Didn't actually post until I got back from lunch and missed the responses. Enforcer where did you get those braces that you used to attach the PC to the seat? and what are they called?
Tidder is that actually a desktop in your dash???
If you have a 4 bay tower or something, you could try to buy a cheap case that only has two bays. Something easy like that would be a cheap way to make it smaller, and still maintain a nice case for everything
I've got a Travla-C137 case. I put four screws through the top of the case and mounted it to the top of my trunk.

The Travla-C137 case is for mini-itx... I am running ATX so I guess that idea is out. I do have a 2 bay case and it's not HUGE I guess, just a little large for what's in it.
I think I am going to attempt the Velcro Idea and see how it works. I like the brace idea also, that might be plan B.
Thanks for the responses guys!

Of course the velcro is underneath, can't see it.
The box is just an old plastic tool case I found at work.
I'll say that the plastic is much easier to work with...than a metal case.
