I was pretty set on buying a via board for a while, but have since changed my mind. I have a old pc (just like everyone else) that I had origionally bought three years ago to use as my carpc. It was actually two or three months after I had found this site. It's got a 1ghz celeron processor and (I think) a crappy motherboard. I was wandering if anyone can recomend a motherboard for this cpu. Atx, microatx (prefered), whatever. I've read up on them, but there are so many damn motherboards made by so many manufacturers in different price ranges. I'm pretty sure it's a socket 370. thanks

You may find it difficult to get a mobo for that cpu, most of the socket 370 boards did not accept the 1ghz celery. Look for one that supports a 'Tulatin' processor.
....Yes, I know it has a stupid name, those crazy Japanese!
go to pricewatch.com and look under motherboards w/ included 1ghz celerons, that will tell you what motherboard you can use with your processor.
Given that it will probably cost you at least $60 for a new mobo, I would suggest you just get a new processor and mobo combo. You can get anthlon 2000+ for around $80 that will run circles around a celeron.
