check the green/white wires that go to the motherboard and make sure they are connected right. I had similar problems and it took me about 5-6 rewiring efforts to get it right. I never did find out EXACTLY what was causing it, but I suspect it was those wires.

Did you hook the opus up to your mobo power switch pins?

Try another source (other than your stereo remote wire) for the remote turn on power that goes to the OPUS. Depending on your stereo it may not be able to hold much of a load on that circuit (thus timing out after a while and reseting?). Just test this theory by connecting the OPUS remote turn on to a solid positive.

Just to veify, what is power and ground with those 2? And also, are there any certain pins on my mobo i need to have it hooked to. I was assuming pins 3-4

Please excuse me, but my head is spinning, so i want to make sure i understand you. Rather than hook the yellow to a remote wire that only gets power when the car is on, hook it to a constant wire that always is live?

    Just for testing purposes yeah.

If you don't know, your remote also puts out +12v, it's just switched instead of constant.
