Thread: Calling Bistart M7NCG 400 owners, opinions please

Been lurking here for a while, this is my first post.

I'm investigating mATX mobos and it seems to be a choice between either the Biostar M7NCG 400 or the Asus A7N8X VM/400. The Biostar looks like the one for me with its underclocking and undervolting options. It also has a gameport which could be useful.

Any M7NCG 400 owners out there got anything to say about this mobo? Good or bad? Has anybody successfully got the onboard video to display 800 * 480 in Windows XP? If so, how did you achieve this? Modified BIOS, Powerstrip etc?
