Question HYBRID RS-232 Controlled 16-Relay Driver with 5 or 10-Amp Relays

    Hello everyone,

I have been lurking around for a while and was wondering if anyone has seen this.

    http://www.controlanything.com/Merch..._Code=IOADR165

I used the and did not see any information in the forums. Has anyone used one of these? If so, what was your impression of the build quality and company. They appear to be rather pricy, but also is loaded with options.

Have purchased my monitor (Xenarc) and MB (via MII 10000) but am still working through the design phase.

I think I've seen this board mentioned before, you might search for something about AC controls. It looks pretty awesome, but like you said, pretty pricey.

I would love to have one of those, but I'm looking at one of these, since it fits into my budget.

There are also some USB boards like this.

Do you really need that many inputs/outputs?
    2000 Subaru OBS

    Dell P3 @ 900 Mhz
    7" Lilliput TS w/DigitalWW in-dash mount
    80GB External HD

I agree they look like great boards but they are dam pricey!

the one you just mentioned http://www.mpja.com/productview.asp?product=6074+KT
i do believe that wizard pc has already coded an application to allow use of this baord for AC controls, it has unfortuantly only 8 outputs and no inputs whatsoever.
the phidgets boards are great boards but again fairly pricey for what they are
im currently waiting for RICKY327 here on the forums to complete hes design then we add full support into AIMEE once this is complete. hes board promises to have outputs that you are not limited to a specific current rating or a relay amnd inpust that can be configered to read analouge or digital values
    and best off all cheap!

Cool, I will be watching RICKY327s project. I was planning on purchasing this card this week. Do you have a guesstamat as to when a user level product will be available under RICKY327's project? I checked out the thread referenced, but it doesn't specificly say. Any ideas?
