Booting w/out a video card
Can someone tell me how to get a clean boot from windows 98 with the video card removed. I've tried removing the hardware profile but 98 wants to re-install on boot. I'm using an x-10 remote and winamp as my shell. With no keyboard and no mouse I need a clean boot.??

The answer to this is fairly simple. You can't use win9* without a video card, as it is not coded to function without a card in place and detected. I am surprised you got this far, in fact. A lot of Motherboard Bios will halt on error, upon detecting no video card in place on the post.

Sorry, it's a fact. Try DOS or Linux instead.
I had to put a cheapie in mine to get it to boot!
